the final season of GoT is utterly insane to me because it was so shitty that, not only did it wipe all discourse about the show out almost entirely, but whenever you bring up GoT the topic of how utterly dogshit the last season was is typically the first thing that comes to mind it takes talent to be this dookie

In season 8, people reached practically anywhere to anywhere in, like, half an episode. For someone "used to" the pace of the earlier seasons, it felt rushed AF. Yeah I felt that starting from season 6, 7 had it to an insane degree, but frankly I'm okay with that. I don't need faction development anymore.
becuase people like to whine, especially about season 8. the first 6 seasons of the show is some of the best tv you'll get, and the later seasons are worse and the conclusion isn't that good but it still overall is a good watch and definitely better then most shows you'll find.
